Ever wanted to export a list of your WooCommerce Products to Excel? Or maybe export a list of all the posts or pages on your site? Admin List Export makes it easy to export your WordPress admin lists for Posts, Pages and Custom Post Types to CSV format, which can be viewed in Excel or imported into another system.
The plugin is very straightforward and simply adds an “Export List” link to the top of your admin list pages. Clicking on this link will download a CSV file containing a list of whatever you have currently filtered for (up to 100 rows per export) and will include whatever columns are visible on the screen. Yo overcome the 100 rows limit, you can use paging and export every page one at a time, or you can upgrade to Admin List Export PRO.
Admin List Export Pro
The Pro version is the same, easy plugin with single-click exports, but with a few extra features:
- Export thousands of rows with a single click.
The free version will export 100 rows as a time and if you wish to export more than that, you have to export multiple pages and cut and paste the results in Excel into a single spreadsheet. - Custom function per column.
This is more useful than it may sound:) For example, if you export WooCommerce Products, the product name column includes all kinds of extra information to display the actions that you see below the name when you hover over a product. If you export that to Excel, it’s very difficult to find the product name in between all the other garbage. The Pro version comes bundled with a custom function that will export just the product name when exporting WooCommerce Products.
Another example is if you use Yoast’s SEO plugin and you want to export all your posts to track which ones have a green light and which ones need more SEO work done on them. Well the green light is an image, which does not make much sense when exported to CSV. The Pro version includes a custom function which will export your SEO column into meaningful words (Green, Orange, Grey etc.) so that you can understand it in Excel.
Those are just some examples of functions already included in the Pro version for you. But you are also free to write your own custom function for any column you want and over time I will build up a library of functions that you can use for common requests.
